  • Place the WiFi extender close to your router and plug it in.
  • Use an Ethernet cable to link your extender and router.
  • Activate the extender and allow some time for the power indicator to become stable.
  • Launch a browser and go to the setup page (such as mywifiext.net).
  • Use the default credentials to log in.
  • Choose “Access Point Mode” from the configuration options.
  • Setup the name (SSID) and password of your new WiFi network.
  • Save your settings and link your devices to the new WiFi network.

  • Enter wifi.wavlink.com or 192.168.10.1 into the address bar.
  • Type in the default username and password (usually admin).
  • Click on Login to reach the Wavlink AC1200 setup page.

Follow these simple steps to reset your Wavlink AC1200 WiFi extender:

  • Connect your Wavlink AC1200 extender to a power source and switch it on.
  • Find the Reset button on the device.
  • For about 10 seconds, press the Reset button and hold it down.
  • Once the LEDs begin to blink, let go of the button.
  • The extender will restart automatically.
  • After the lights settle down, your Wavlink AC1200 is restored to its factory settings.
